These beautiful songs arrived sounding a little flat, lacking low-end weight and midrange detail, with vocals that felt slightly tinny. The goal was to open up the mix and add slightly more body, bring the drums forward without losing their fragility, and make the vocals more present while preserving the artist’s vision and sense of intimacy.
